A distinguished Buddhist scholar, Ven. Geshe Lhakdor served His Holiness the Dalai Lama as translator and religious assistant from 1989 to 2005, accompanying His Holiness to numerous conferences and forums worldwide. He has co-translated and co-produced several books by the Dalai Lama. He is now the director of the Library of Tibetan Works and Archives and head of the Science Education Project at LTWA and travels extensively giving talks on Buddhist teachings and other universally relevant topics such as secular ethics, universal responsibility, and mind training.
